VUB presentation at IMMC 2022



The 21st International Metallurgy and Materials Congress (IMMC 2022) was held on 6-8 October 2022 at Istanbul Beylikdüzü Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Turkey.


The IMMC'2022 Congress took place simultaneously with ANKIROS/TURKCAST Fairs and the 11th International Foundry Congress, leading to greatest collaboration of the Metallurgy and Materials industry. Papers were presented at the Congress under 14 different symposium titles including Energy Materials.


CoFBAT project participated in the IMMC 2022 congress with Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Dr. Kamil Burak Dermenci (Senior Researcher, VUB) gave a talk in the Energy Materials Symposium titled “Advanced material solutions for safer and long-lasting high capacity Cobalt Free Batteries for stationary storage applications” describing the overall objectives of the CoFBAT project as well as the recent progresses on the Multiphysics-based modelling tasks in which VUB is taking the lead.
